Visit Widget is a travel and tourism platform that helps towns throughout the United States, as well as internationally, promote their attractions, events, restaurants, and hotels.

As the Front-End Software Developer, I worked on client WordPress websites and the React/TypeScript web app. I collaborated cross-functionally with the Product Owner and UX Designer to translate designs into functional features.

I streamlined new client site onboarding by developing a scalable starter framework with enhanced admin functionality supporting white-labeled resource libraries and platform data synchronization. I supported existing clients with custom WordPress development and REST API troubleshooting.

On the product side of development, I reduced feature development cycles by executing a legacy Rails-to-React migration that enabled rapid prototyping, reusable components, and scalable UI development. I also built out the admin dashboard that gives clients full editing access and more insight into their app analytics.
